Laconia---Clarence S. "Curley" Dodge, 83, of 25 Union Ave. Apt. 415 and formerly of 41 Butler Street, died at his home on Sunday March 21, 2004. He was the widower of Irene (Huard) Dodge who died in 2002.

Mr. Dodge was born March 3, 1921 in Ashland, NH the son of the late Clarence L. and Grace A. (Way) Dodge. He had lived in the Lakes Region most of his life.

Mr. Dodge was employed at Lewis & Saunders for 18 years, retiring in 1983. He was a watch maker for many years and was formerly employed by Gilbert Clock.

Survivors include 2 sons Donald E. Dodge of Laconia and Henry C. Dodge of Merrimack; 2 daughters Janet Shosa of Laconia and Grace Desisto of Laconia; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister Effie Sewell of Laconia; several nephews, nieces and a close friend Colleen Bombardier of Laconia. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and a brother Lucy Hickey, Agnes Sargent, Esther Batchelder and Henry Dodge.

Calling hours will be held on Friday March 26, 2004 from 7-9 PM, using the Carriage House entrance of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc. 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
